If you had told me 50 years ago that Donald Trump would be our president when America turns 250, I would have said you were crazy.

Or if you would have told me 25 years ago that I would not get to celebrate with my family at home today because we are spending time with my husband’s family because his brother is lying in a hospital bed, dying of cancer, I would have said that’s not possible. He is too strong and full of life.

Yet, here we are, in a hotel room far from home, wishing everyone a Happy 4th and America a Happy Birthday!

Adaptability is a good trait to develop.
